Real Junk Food Project: Twickenham

This project utilises surplus food from supermarkets to reduce food waste whilst simultaneously offering support to those who need it. Established at three sites in Twickenham (the ETNA Centre, Linden Hall in Hampton and Hampton High Street), it offers clients freshly prepared hot cooked meals (ETNA Centre), hot soups (Linden Hall) and food to take home from food hubs (all three sites).

Our research team was asked to evaluate the offer at all three sites by the organisers. Using bespoke questionnaires and interview guides co-developed with the organisers, views of clients, volunteers and organisers were collected.
